ABM Youth Ambassador for 2015

October 29, 2014

Lauren Jones, a Year 12 student at St Michael’s Collegiate School, has been appointed as the ABM Youth Ambassador for 2015. She takes over from Rowena Clark-Hansen who filled that role in 2014.

The role of the Youth Ambassador is to share the work of the Church and its partners with young people in Australia, as well as with parishes.

Lauren went on the ABM Modawa pilgrimage to Papua New Guinea in August this year and will be speaking to parish groups after the school year ends.

Tim Swifte, secretary of the ABM Tasmania Diocese Committee said, “We wish Lauren every success in her examinations and hope she has a rewarding and exciting year as the Youth Ambassador.”

ABM is delighted to see that Lauren, who is the daughter of ABM Board Member Bishop Chris Jones, has an interest in mission and is helping us share this with others.
