Fr Denny Guka is the new bishop-elect for Port Moresby Diocese in the Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea. He was elected on 21st March at a meeting comprising the House of Bishops, and other committee members. He will be replacing Bishop Peter Ramsden who retired last September.

Fr Denny is currently the Anglican Chaplain at the University of PNG and Port Moresby Diocese Vicar General. He is also the Chairman of the PNG Council of Churches and was rector at St Martin’s, East Boroko, for many years.
He is married to Marinda Guka and they have 4 children. Fr Denny is from Katuna village in Northern Province.
The Consecration will be held on Sunday 24th May, Pentecost Day, possibly at Begabari Chapel, although this is still to be confirmed.
ABM looks forward to working with Fr Denny and wishes him many blessings in his new role as bishop.
