Update on Typhoon Mangkhut Emergency – 21 September, 2018
The death toll in the Philippines from Typhoon Mangkhut (Ompong) has risen to 81 people. ABM partner ECARE reported that among the dead were eight rescue workers, some of whom were Episcopalians.
Typhoon Mangkhut: Urgent Support Needed for the Philippines – 18 September, 2018
ABM has launched an emergency appeal in response to a request for assistance from the Episcopal Church in the Philippines (ECP), after Super Typhoon Mangkhut struck the northern parts of Luzon on Saturday 15 September, 2018.
ABM Martyrs Appeal 2018 – 16 August, 2018
The 2018 Martyrs Appeal focuses on supporting educational programs in Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu, where the Anglican Board of Mission has well established long-term partnerships with the local Anglican Churches.

May 27 to June 3 is National Reconciliation Week, also known as the Week of Prayer for Reconciliation.
To mark this crucially important week in the life of the church and the nation, ABM is launching a significant new study resource, A Voice from the Wilderness: Listening to the Statement from the Heart.
PNG Earthquake Emergency Appeal – 6 March, 2018
ABM has launched an emergency appeal for the people of Papua New Guinea in response to the magnitude-7.5 earthquake which struck the Southern Highlands province on 26 February, causing landslides, destroying buildings and widespread damage. It is estimated that at least 67 people have been killed, and about 150,000 are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.

Centenary of the ABM Good Friday Gift – 14 February, 2018
This year marks the centenary since the Anglican Board of Mission – Australia first began collecting donations for the Good Friday Gift in support of people in the Holy Land. The ABM Good Friday Gift is an annual appeal which traditionally focuses on fund-raising for ABM’s partner, the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East.
