ABM Maryborough Auxiliary celebrates centenary

April 2018

On 10th June 2018, the ABM Maryborough Auxiliary in the Diocese of Brisbane will be celebrating their Centenary with a special service at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Lennox Street, Maryborough at 8:30am.

The Guest Speaker will be the Revd John Deane, ABM’s Executive Director. The service will be followed by a brunch in St Paul’s Memorial Hall.

Maureen Warton, Secretary of the Maryborough Auxiliary, advised that four very talented members have been working hard on making a beautiful queen sized quilt which will be raffled at the Centenary celebrations. The funds raised from the quilt raffle will be donated towards ABM’s General Community Development Fund.

Jill Beardmore, one of the four ladies who made the quilt, said, “We wanted something old worldly and that would suit anyone. We were all thrilled at how it turned out. Now I am going to make myself one in maroon and cream. We are selling tickets for $2.00 each.”

Thank you so much to the members of Maryborough Auxiliary! ABM is always impressed with the efforts our loyal supporters go through in fundraising for our projects. Please go along to this special event and show your support for the Auxiliary.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Auxiliary President Noela Thomson on 0411 194751, email noelathomson@gmail.com or Secretary Maureen Warton on (07)4123 6067, email maurine.warton@bigpond.com. RSVP by 19th May, 2018.
