Forms of Gift

PREFERRED WORDING WHEN INCLUDING THE ANGLICAN BOARD OF MISSION PTY LTD

The following forms of wording are provided for the guidance of your professional legal advisor, who will adapt them for any specific requirements of your Will. 

 

A residual bequest

I give to the Anglican Board of Mission – Australia the rest of my estate, and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer thereof shall be a complete discharge to my Executors for the legacy, and that my Executors shall not be bound to see the application thereof.

A proportional bequest

I give to the Anglican Board of Mission – Australia an amount equal to ____ per centum of the total value of my estate, and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer thereof shall be a complete discharge to my Executors for the legacy, and that my Executors shall not be bound to see the application thereof.

A gift of specific assets

I give to the Anglican Board of Mission – Australia _____ [description of real estate, securities, etc], and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer thereof shall be a complete discharge to my Executors for the legacy, and that my Executors shall not be bound to see the application thereof. [And I direct that the said legacy shall be free of debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, duties and taxes which shall be paid out of the residue of my estate.]

A gift of cash

I give to the Anglican Board of Mission – Australia, the sum of $_____, and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer thereof shall be a complete discharge to my Executors for the legacy, and that my Executors shall not be bound to see the application thereof. [And I direct that the said legacy shall be free of debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, duties and taxes which shall be paid out of the residue of my estate.]
